Blink
In December 2008 FlexiGroup launched a Mobile Broadband service under the Blink brand to leverage the growth in Mobile Broadband and importantly its strong link with the sub $1,500 notebook category. The Mobile Broadband service is powered by the Optus Dual Band Network which covers 96% of the Australian population#.
Two key offerings are Blink Nomad and Blink Freedom.
Blink Nomad is a month to month mobile broadband plan with no long term contract. The customer gets a Blink Mobile Broadband Stick and selects their Mobile Broadband Plan based on their usage requirements. To add value and differentiate Blink Nomad from other providers, FlexiGroup have added the additional benefit of an Equipment Loan service. If a Blink Nomad customer’s laptop needs fixing or goes in for repairs, Blink will loan them another within 24 hours*.
Blink Freedom enables customers to bundle a mobile broadband service with a notebook or netbook of their choice, for a monthly payment over a selected term. In addition to the Equipment Loan service, Blink Freedom customers also benefit from protection if their equipment is stolen, lost or accidentally damaged. Blink will replace it should the worse happen providing a real point of difference within the Mobile Broadband category.
